An Established, Family-Owned Business

Independent Meat Company was founded in 1904. We have been a family-owned business for five generations. Our plant in Twin Falls, Idaho manufactures pork products that are sold and distributed across the United States and Pacific Rim.

Even after all these years, we still follow the recipes developed by Otto Florence, Sr. Customers can taste the difference. We are humbled by the frequency of calls and letters received praising our products’ superb quality and flavor.

Healthy eating starts at the farm. Over 25 years ago, Independent Meat Company partnered with farmers who understand this and are committed to providing customers with a healthy, high-quality eating experience. As part of our tradition of quality, we bring together:

We get the hogs for our product lines from our sustainable, family-owned and family-operated farms spread throughout the Intermountain West. In addition to hogs, these farms are diversified, raising crops, cattle, and poultry. They work hard to protect the environment and ensure their farms are available for generations to come.

Both our Salmon Creek Farms Natural Pork and Falls Brand products are manufactured at our Twin Falls, Idaho plant. We utilize state-of-the-art freezing and packaging techniques, which allow for incomparable freshness and extended shelf life. Our products are available in a wide variety of packaged sizes and boxed based on individual customer needs.
